Welcome to the world of Moriah Sam's Books
I am Moriah Sam. I am the author and illustrator of the "Samuel Science series" and author of, "The Little Curry Leaf Tree". I started writing firstly for my children. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I was discouraged from seeing the books coming into the children's book market. I wanted her to grow up reading books that were family-centered and taught valuable educational lessons. I challenged myself to write her a book before she was born. I met that goal and wrote my first book, "Solar System Sightseeing Before Supper". Originally, I wasn't going to publish the book. Through the encouragement of my husband, I decided to publish the book so that other families with similar goals would enjoy the books. Since then, I have written and illustrated one stand-alone book and five more to the original science series. Most recently, I published "The Little Curry Leaf Tree" through a hybrid publisher, "Page Publishing". My hope for all of my books is that it will inspire a love of learning and family in each of my young readers.
